Praegressus Ltd was founded and established by Damian in 2016 with a group of like-minded growers from the Pukekohe region.
In establishing Praegressus, he set out to bring a less clunky, more cost-effective supply model to hard working growers and farmers, cutting out costly overheads such as overstocked, high rent stores with over inflated store staff numbers.
In 2019, Praegressus Ltd acquired the strategically situated Westag Trading Ltd business, to expand its footprint regionally and continue with its primary goal of sourcing and supplying the exact right product for the job its customers need.
Damian has held roles on both the wholesale and retail sides of the agricultural product supply industry, his experience prior has helped to realise the vision for the company and shape this business model- Praegressus is the Latin word for Evolution... this is undoubtably an industry that needs to evolve to better serve the requirements of New Zealand's food producers. Every little bit helps, and we're striving to do a big bit.
Sourcing the most effective, cost beneficial products and solutions for our customer's and their crops, working alongside growers, farmers and our increasing number of locally and internationally based suppliers is a key focus Damian and our team.
